I purchased the 13.1 charm to give my twins as a way to remember their first half marathon. They had to wait until the year that they turned 13 to run their first half marathon, so 2015 was the year. We had a group of people that wanted to run with them to be a part of such a wonderful experience. We even had three generations running together; my father, me and my two girls. They wanted a necklace and were disappointed when they did not get one at the finish. They wanted to wear their "medal" everyday and a necklace would allow them to do that. I am so excited that they will be able to wear their "badge of honor" for everyone to see and to remember their very first half marathon in San Luis Obispo thanks to you your beautiful necklace.
